Well your on the right track because you need to do both diet and exercise to lose weight. And its not healthy to lose more than 2 pounds a week so not bad so far. The number one greatest exercise for anyone is RUNNING. Try to run whether its only for a little bit or a long time try to build yourself up. To tone up you should do some weight lifting too. Unless you really want to gain muscle all you really need to do is light free weights, different variations of pull ups, push ups, lunges and planks and sit ups for the abs. This will be all you need. You can look up all of these here.
