Jordynne Grace just got some TV time, participating with all the men at the All In Over the Top Battle Royal, part of the hourlong All In preshow which aired on WGN America.† Here she is powerbombing and eliminating no one less than Brian Cage:

Jordynne was terrific.† This was a really fun battle royal, much more so than most.

For those who don't know, All In is the brainchild of Cody and the Young Bucks, who wanted to put on the biggest indy show ever with stars from several promotions -- especially ROH, but also New Japan, Impact and others (to say nothing of Steven Amell from Arrow returning to wrestling, facing Christopher Daniels).† On the women's side, the Chicago-based show has a four-way match with Tessa Blanchard, Chelsea Green, Madison Rayne and Britt Baker.† Full card here:

This was a terrific show up and down the line, well worth the $35 PPV charge. Moreover, all the women on this show were put over strong. That 4 woman tornado match was really good and all the women had a chance to stand out. Tessa did another press slam with Madison Rayne as her barbell; she also did a nice looking Canadian destroyer and some Magnum TA throwback moves too. Madison did a nice looking plancha. Britt Baker was solid throughout. But Chelsea might have stood out most; she did the split personality Laurel Van Ness gimmick, but showed tons more energy and was featured in most of the spots. As a bonus we had Tenille and Mandy Leon on color; they both looked great but didnít say a lot.

But that wasnít all. Penelope Ford was the second for Joey Janela, and they gave her a sequence where she did a double back flip and then a stunner on Hangman Page, who sold this like he was kicked by a horse. Then she hit a plancha as well. And Brandi got to do some funny Macho Man - Liz spots with Jay Lethal. I havenít seen women being given so much on PPVís since the NXT Horsewomen days.

I was listening to the Wrestling Inc. podcast review of All In, and some of them didn't sound all that impressed.  Raj said that it wasn't as good as SummerSlam.  Well, when you compare a startup Indy show to a WWE product, how can it be!

This was tons better than SummerSlam, because it was built over time through stories on Being the Elite that all paid off on this show with endings that the fans wanted. How many people were happy that SummerSlam ended with slavishly pushed Roman Reigns beating new contrived heel Brock? No, they wanted Braun to win! And if the Bucks were booking this, thatís what would have happened.

No woman on SummerSlam slam got over as well as any of the women on All In last night. They made Penelope Ford, who no one knew, into a star. Jordynne Grace too, thanks to Brian Cage and Bully. Cage deserves special accolades for not only putting over Grace, but Tessa too in a great match on the indies

And nothing on SS could top the emotion when Cody won the NWA title. This was truly his FU moment to Vince.

Very interesting ESPN report on intergender wrestling, following the women (and men) who do this, especially focusing on Kimber Lee.† Lots of colorful details and backstage stuff.  Well written and engaging.  Not a lecture or a collection of platitudes.

A Double Bearhug featuring Jordynne Grace!

You've got to not only have incredible strength, but core strength and balance to hold up two girls at different angles.† The weight isn't centered in one spot.†
