3D Stereoscopic Vids?
Jan 8th, 2018 at 11:53am

Dear HBC Team, sorry don't want to be annoying Wink But had you ever thought about making 3D vids?
There is noone out there who does such vids of FBBs. (Just as always the porn indutry is on it)
In times like these, when VR headsets get cheaper and cheaper it might be a chance. I would even pay extra for these. Don't know if there is a large enough demand currently, maybe a survey would help.
But as a creator of a VR muscle girl game (sorry for the promo Wink ), I can tell it's a great experience.

We do have a tiny amount of 3D content in our library, but it's not what you'd expect. The playback to most monitors is somewhat disappointing. The good stuff is pretty costly to create, but maybe we'll get there someday. Wink

There is at least one site IF you're into mixed wrestling involving FBB's! Most of Athena2's more recent videos are available in 3D. Check out www.athena2.net

I haven't seen any of their full length videos, but I did download a couple of previews and they came out ok. I don't actually have a VR headset yet though, I use the old NVidia 3DVision glasses!

Here are a couple of direct links to those 3D preview videos as they're actually kinda tricky to find on the site†itself Cool

Thanks for that link, but you didn't tell us what sort of equipment we need to view it.  On playback, it only looks like 2 copies of the same video playing side-by-side.  Undecided

Well it would probably vary depending on what type of 3D equipment you've got.

As I mentioned, I use the Nvidia 3D vision glasses. If you also have those, it will play with Nvidia's own video player, which you can download from here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-video-player-1.7.5-driver.html

Thanks for the links. The problem of 3D on small standard screens, persons look a little like puppets.
I tried the vids on VR headset (you get full size persons) and looks good, but could be much better. They don't have too much depth. It depends on the camera equipment and experience of the camera guy. There are 2 ways to make 3D vids. Just take a double lens cam and shoot as usual, or like the porn industry does, use a stereo 180 degree camera rigg and you feel like being inside the scene.

3D just sucks...crappity smack the glasses and the whole experience. Thatís my hot take on that. Itís sucked for years.  Iíd pay extra not to have to see a movie in 3D and Iím glad my wife and kids feel the same way. Perhaps in 3-10 years virtual reality will be what people imagine it might be,, but perhaps not.  If so, we will get into it...but for now itís kinda moot.

Wow, my experience is exact the opposite, I love it.
After being long time away from cinemas, I started watching movies there again as 3D came up in good quality.

I've 2 VR headsets and don't play any 2D games anymore and know a lot of people that do the same.
Maybe you've got issues with your eyes, some people have problems with 3D.

I've been to a couple of 3D movies and have to agree with this. They're pretty bad.

3D muscle clips may work, but I'd rather not have to put on extra glasses or headwear for a casual muscle viewing.

Special headsets, etc requires too much work for the viewer. Most people just want to turn on the display they've got and start enjoying the view as quickly as possible.  Inexpensive 3D productions always look tacky and uninspired...too gimmicky.  It's a major disappointment...not yet worth any amount of effort.

I'd mostly have to agree, female-power.net does some of their videos with stereoscopic red/blue 3D, and I've found the results kind of disappointing and not worth the trouble.† A different technology might look better, but would also require specific monitors and equipment.

I do think it would be a nice option in the future, as long as the same videos were also available in 2D.

OK, but comparing red/blue 3D glasses with a VR Headset, is like comparing a piece of shit on 2 wheels with a Ferrari† Wink

I made red/blue stereoscopic pics long ago using only a single photocamera (making 2 pic of the same STILL area) moving/strafing about 10 cm to the side (eyedistance) after the first. It was good with some postprocessing when I did the image editing.
But some years earlier we bought a normal 3D TV, which uses this new SBS (side-by-side) thing and the glasses that came with it are just normal ones, not heavy VR ones, simpla light class similar to the ones you get at IMAX movies, it just uses different technic, switches between the 2 eye when in sync with the tv and its fully colored sharp experience with changeable depth setting. Not inconvenient, just put up and watch (even wotks over normal glasses, same way as 3D movie glasses).
I made some pic for the TV and looked fine (again, just with one camera. And since most SBS video is not hig resolution, I guess two identical videocamera (not the big professional ones) taped together can simulate the human eye distance. With autofocus off (so no seeking blurr) they probably make a good video and no editing needed, just editing them next to eachother in the proper order (lef vid s on the right). Tho I never tried that, so... its just an idea
The point is.. no VR headset needed, just a simple 3D TV that can handle SBS vids or pics (even if no vid, pics would be cool too and easier to make and finetune)
Just googleimage search for examples (same for youtube): SBS 3D
