Great feedback, thanks everybody!

Tre, Sean, and I have been around for many years and Tre and I started as big fans in the late 80s and 90s and continue to be fans today.  We have had and continue to have an interesting job as middle man between the fans and when we were shooting, the women themselves...and now as the buyers of femuscle material from our photo/videographers.

Some of the reasons behind the decisions that get made...so you guys might understand a little better...

1 -- Safety & happiness of the models -- this comes first of course

2 -- Satisfying the demand of our customer base

We've had injuries over the years at shoots, and many of our models report injuries from certain kinds of activities from outside of our shoots.  We are pretty aware and sensitive to the safety of our models.

Sometimes 1 & 2 partially conflict.  Like asking a model to max out on bench or other lifts in the gym, armwrestling a big guy or another female bodybuilder going 100%, wrestling, punching, other feats of strength all involve a certain degree of risk.  Some models are more averse to risk than others; and might be vulnerable to injury due to conditioning.

What we try to do is get the best and most appealing content from our shoots within the context of time limiations, location limitations, safety concerns, and maybe most importantly what we can get the model to enthusiastically participate in that will allow us to keep working with her.

Sometimes, we have 1-2 hours to shoot with a model the day before her contest.  In this circumstance, her energy is almost always low as are her strength levels compared to how she might be 2 months later at an offseason gym shoot.  So, context matters...but we don't always have the privlege to choose exactly when and where we get the chance to work with a model.

Sometimes, we have a girl willing and capable of taking on larger male oppenents, or a girl that can outmuscle a big dude at the gym, etc etc....but more often, we have models that are much more willing to agree to armwreste or lift and carry a similar or smaller sized male, one that's less threatening from a safety and energy perspective.

Then, there's the demand...in the first 18 months we've sold VODs on the site, we've done many types of videos.  None of the videos featuring large male opponents have been in the top 10 of sales...so our audience is voting for the smaller opponents with their wallets.  That's not to say we won't continue to offer a variety.

Not only can we get all or just about all of our best models to agree to appear in a video proving their strength and size advantages over small/normal/regular guys like Joey and Reid...but they almost always love doing it...they think its fun and hilarious.  They aren't usually worried about their safety, and the battles of the sexes can be more authentic and more fun as a result.

Same set of girls, when we suggest a larger male opponent, many and most say no thanks.  So we save those requests for the girls we know might be open to it.  We don't want to push their boundaries and wind up with less enthusiastic models.

When we have a model for an entire day or two, we also have to worry about the model's fatigue factor.  Muscle posing is draining, and on camera strength demos are also...they have a limited amount of good sport/gameness in them, and also a limited amount of energy/strength.  So the more intensely we push their physical limits, the shorter the shoot is going to be.

I could go on, because there are more practical reasons why the smaller guys make more sense for us to work with, but you probably get the drift.  One last factor I'll mention is that we have a few guys that appear regularly in our videos and they are cool as shit, are funny, willing to embarass themselves...though they don't always love it upon reflection.  I've asked many men to appear on camera with these girls, and most want no part of it.  When the photographer and the model love working with a victim, we're going to use that guy again.  If he can come on a trip and take part in most or all of the shoots, that's all the better.

3 -- What our line is, what we're ok with shooting/selling

We don't produce porn.  We are comfortable hosting webcams and the models get to sell whatever videos they want.  We ask they check the adult box on their videos when there's nudity or anything strictly adult.

Our versions of domination and emasculation involve women proving they are bigger and/or stronger than men, light teasing and playfulness around these concepts.  Occasionally, we might put some topless or nude posing out, but never under the HerBiceps brand.

As for what is VOD vs members area, you guys should have a good feel for it...they are videos that are more expensive and time-consuming to produce, and also have to be videos we expect there to be individual demand for.

We won't be moving into producing any kind of hardcore porn or even shoot with models nude or topless on any kind of regular basis. We do have some more adult content we are selling in the physique_dreams category, but that primarily older content.  If you consider sexy clothed posing, some implied topless or a fbb doing some sexy muscle talk mixed into videos porn, then I take issue with your definition of porn.

4 -- Specific marketable ideas that we can make happen, are repeatable and that our audience wants to purchase

As Tre pointed out, we want to shoot the most best stuff that sells the most, because that means people like it the most.  Our shoots have changed the last year or two, as we've realized that there's more demand to serve in the VOD space...and we'll always be responsive to actual demand given all the constraints mentioned about.  Our shoots are collaborative, guided by supply and being able to rationalize our costs.

I'd LOVE to hear some specific shooting ideas for members section or for VODs that you think would be easy to accomplish in the contexts of what you know about our shoots, models and photogs.  What's the VOD you'd love to buy.  Be as specific as you can be, and try to think about how it might be advertised and promoted,

Here's some examples from what we've already been producing, ideas that have done well so far, and are repeatable...we're also open to ideas to improve or add onto, or variations of these themes...

Transformation -- model talking about or showing pics of how they used to look before they got bigger and more muscular, sometimes incorporating older shoot footage of them if we shot them in the past...a personal look into their growth/transformation story

For the Love of Muscle -- intense muscle posing video mixed with audio or stories told by the model about how big/strong she is, what she loves about it, how it feels, and what it means for her life

Confessions of a Muscle Goddess -- true personal stories from our muscle girls about life experiences, anecdotes that we tap into and think you guys would want to hear about...mixed again with intimately shot intense posing footage

Gym Domination/Emasculation -- muscle model taking on the challenge to show off muscle and strength advantages over a male opponent, variations have included muscle comparisons, measurement comparisons, gym lift competitions, aw, lift and carry, etc etc....sometimes skinny/small guy, sometimes bigger guys

Anybody that gives us a good idea that we haven't thought of (and please be specific), if we use it, we'll award free HBCam credits.  For that matter, anybody that gives us very detailed feedback like Mavri, xhero, and Plop13, email us at help@herbicepscam.com and we'll be glad to hook you up.  We appreciate the time and effort and passion that has gone into your posts.

In one of the best ever measurements video, there is no picture preview, or tag that actually there is any measurements in the video!
So instead i am buying it immediately after release I`ve got it months later!
Great job gaining customers in your project Undecided

Agreed, obviously the reward is very much appreciated and much of the VOD feedback has been taken onboard which is great to see.

As a side note, can anyone who's purchased the newest Mindi O VOD confirm if she does a large amount of pushups? Would love to check it out but I'm reluctant to purchase if the numbers are small.

Sean -
Will the photos from shoots marked Sean-Nelson.com on your instagram make their way over to HB Plus or are they photos only for your site?

Specifically the Jodi Miller stuff.
